We believe in inclusive systems built on trust, evidence and the power of listening well.

Oxlip Education offers consultancy and support across the SEND landscape. We help local authorities and families navigate complexity with confidence, bringing evidence, empathy and practical solutions to every challenge.

Our approach is thoughtful and principled, grounded in real experience. We combine professional insight with a strong commitment to inclusion.

Founded by Lydia Mahoney, a qualified teacher and experienced SEND specialist, and Cecilia Marshall, a strategic leader, Oxlip brings together system expertise and strategic clarity. We understand the pressures facing services because we’ve worked within them.

Oxlip Education offers strategic consultancy and practical support across the SEND system. We work with local authorities to strengthen statutory delivery and inclusive provision, and with families to navigate the Education, Health and Care process with confidence.

For Local Authorities

Consultancy, plan writing, training and system improvement.

We support local authorities to improve EHCP delivery, strengthen statutory compliance and embed inclusive practice. Our work includes plan writing, staff training, service redesign and strategic advice, shaped around your priorities.

For Families

EHCP reviews, assessment support and practical advice.

We help families understand the SEND process, review draft EHCPs and communicate effectively with the local authority. Our support is clear, compassionate and tailored to your situation.

Our two service strands are designed to complement each other, but we do not offer both in the same local authority area at the same time. This helps us maintain clarity, impartiality and trust in every partnership. If you're interested in working with us, please get in touch to find out what services are currently available in your area.
